Daimyo Sheetymix.

Internet connection at home has gotten so sucky that I decided to drop by Starbucks for their connection. Definitely faster but dc-ing seems to be the norm too -_-''

Now the only time I get to online at home without DC-ing would be in the morning. Sigh.

Have no luck what-so-ever on my research about Schiller's POV's on Cultural Imperialism, Google is temporarily not my best friend anymore. The library in college doesn't seem to help either, the only book they have by Schiller is apparently somewhere in the library but not on the shelf. They said they will get back to me when they find the book but it has already been a week.

My last resort is to drop by the public library one of these days and go look for his book there. If not I have no frigging idea what to do. Deadline coming up in two weeks!

It's really chilly right here in Starbucks right now, due to the location where I'm seated. My hot drink has gone cold, and my fingers are numb -_-

4.55pm

Damn, now the connection here at starbucks has gone wonky too.

So doomed.

Symphonic Oscars with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

Okay I better blog about this since its fresh in my mind and I don't want to lose it.

Attended my 2nd Orchestra on Friday, 13/3/09. It was awesome to the maximus I tell you. First of all, we got upper circle seats for a beri, beri low price :P Secondly the songs they played fuiyohh, AWESOMEST.

No pictures tho cause we weren't allowed to take pictures once we were inside the hall.

The conductor was Richard Kaufman and his daughter Whitney Claire Kaufman was there to sing on the vocals for some particular pieces.

Pieces played were from The Godfather II, The Untouchables, Gone with the wind, Silverado, E.T, To Kill a Mocking Bird and some more which were kinda unrecognisable to me :P And his daughter sang about 4-5 songs, two being Wish upon a star from Pinnochio and Over the rainbow from Wizard of Oz.

It was so good that when the final piece was playing I didn't want it to stop.

Man I wish I'm going again. Sadly tickets for Saturday and Sunday are sold out unless I'm willing to pay RM100 for premium seats -_-''

And I died in my heels, took them off halfway when I was leaving KLCC and I remembered I did that in Ikano too some time ago. It was after May's birthday dinner at Fasta Pasta where we ran all over Ikano and walked on the sidewalks and ran down escalators :P

Okay Ima gonna sleep now. Tomorrow gonna hit Bijou Bazaar :D

And finish up my report on the orchestra. Bah. Plus assignments. o.o

Nites!

To know thyself better.

Was surfing through some blogs and stumbled upon Jason's post.

Decided to give it a try.

Those interested in taking can take it here.

Your view on yourself:

Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.

(err.. i don't really buy the hiding part.. maybe to friends who i don't really know that well yet?)

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.

(life partner? o.o)

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

(keyword: want. :P not sure if i'm absorbing as much as i should be)

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

(agree with the image part, but not on the being accepted part)

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

(but head thinking cancels out all the possibilities and i prefer using the head. sometimes the heart can be abit the rash in making judgments :3)

I'd say I'd have to agree with Jason on the accuracy part to some degree.

Random note: Persona 3 & 4's Original Soundtracks are THE BOMB! OMG if there's an orchestra that is playing their songs I'll definately buy a box seat and pull people along.

Random # 12.

Sheet.

Been waking up at almost every hour for the pass 5/6 hours.. Can't sleep for nuts I tell yeah. One moment its someone barging into the room telling me stuffs, another few other moments I'd randomly wake up and another moment I'd wake up from a weird dream. -_-

So gonna be panda eyed today.

The stitches are coming off today! Hurrah! Hope this part doesn't hurt as bad as the initial one.

My hair's so messy I think I need a haircut. Especially my fringe. But I'm growing my hair, so a haircut will defy the purpose? Kinda miss my short hair actually, which is so low maintenance and when un-styled makes me look like a mushroom, but decided against cutting that short because growing hair is a PAIN in the tushie.

Shyttiemyx is giving me problems as usual. In the middle of typing this post it suddenly went off and now I have nothing to do besides sleep again. My eyes can barely open and I think I'd like to try sleeping again.

I've finally managed to get my results for the previous semester and all I can say is dot dot dot. Disappointed with one subject, which I think many will agree with me to go do a 'mogok' or something because I have not found anyone who actually scored an A or even an A- for it. Highest is B+. Sigh and it was my trump card too.

Ooh my draft was autosaved and I guess its back on. But I can't surf the net so, bah.

I utterly dislike chu Shyttiemyx.

Man its cold Ima having the sniffles.

Okay Ima gonna sleep my eyes are shutting down.

A slice of life.

Last Friday would have been a scary experience for many, but it was pretty funny to me. Cept for the part where I had to stay in the Day Care prior to my surgery. It's like there are four beds in the Day Care and all three beds had some machine right next to the patient with something stuck to their arms except for me. Felt like there is someone else who is sick who deserves the spot that I am at.

And they made me wear those hospital gowns! It was damn big and I didn't know how to wear a sarong. While walking down into the main operating theater I was afraid my sarong will drop halfway.

Anyhow, when I went down to the main operating theater, they pushed me on stretcher into the OT room -_- When I went into the OT room it was all greeeeeeen. And not cold because they didn't switch on the aircond in that room which was good! The hospital gown was too exposed for my liking.

Then it started.

First I had to lie on my left side and the doctor covered me with the 'holy/holey cloth', and the best part is, the cloth covered like half of my face and the nurses placed the tray of equipment right in my line of sight. Even without my specs I could somewhat make out of the stuff they're doing -_-

Then the doc jabbed anesthetic into my ear, about 5 jabs and waited for it to kick in. She tried to test by asking me whether I feel anything sharp against my skin to which I replied no. But when she started cutting on one part, I could feel the pain so I asked for more. She gave another jab of stronger anesthetic and then I couldn't feel anything on my ear. But the last jab hurt like sheeeet T.T

And after that they did their thing, and the doctor kept on talking to the nurses, and one of their topics were food. To which the nurse asked 'Eh the patient got fast or not, here we are talking about food in front of her'. (No I only had one meal for the day and that was brunch T.T)

The whole time my right side could feel these few things:-
  • Cold, wet solution
  • Someone dabbing off blood (I think)
  • Heard funny noises
  • and someone flipping my ear
And after the whole process I was free to go :D

Which was a wrong thing to do because I started earlier and finished earlier, and didn't have any money with me to take a cab back -_- So had to wait for mom who came after her work. When she came the stupid anesthetic wore off and my ear hurt like crap >.<

Luckily had phone and chor dai dee the whole way, and when I went for dinner there was this lady who kept on staring at me like 'wth happened to her?'. Sigh. People. Even when I went out yesterday to yum cha at Wong Kok ss2 the stares kept on coming. Feel like slapping the looks outta those people's face. Jeez.

Hospital souvenir which I didn't realised I was still wearing until I finished dinner.

Signs of Love.

Finally finished the game. Ending is so so only, unlike P3 :(
P4 is funny, but I prefer P3's The Journey's storyline :P
P3 still tha bomb man! Stupid ending, totally did not expect it to be like that.. Bah, now I have to get myself started on P3's The Answer. Reluctant to because its more of a fighting all the way kinda game with not much storyline. But for the scenes... I guess people will put up with it no matter what.

Currently into Summon Night Twin Age for the DS. Also another game by the lovely Atlus. Action RPG style with cute characters and colorful thingamabobs :P

I think I'm gonna be an Atlus fan soon. There's this other game by Atlus that's like Lifesigns Surgical Unit. Forgot whats the name but I'll start on it after I finish SNTA :P

Die, I seem to be obsessed with games. Sigh, what can a girl do having to sit in the LRT for almost 45 minutes one way to college everyday?

Play games I guess :P

Your affection.

Can I kill the damn administrators at college?

Not only I have to be in college by 8am on Fridays, but after my class ends at 10am I have to wait til 4pm for my next class and we end at 6pm.

6 frigging hours of break! Gahhhh. What's a girl gonna do at college for six frigging hours?! There better be assignments to fill up that time or Ima gonna kick some random asses. Even the cute ones.

Not to mention classes don't start until this Thursday.. Ima dying of boredom already.

Okay, enough ranting.

Yes I haven't been updating, cause there's pretty much nothing to update about. Life's boring as hell and I got quite sick of P4 for the week. Almost at the end of the game, but keep on dying due to stupid reasons. *throws out multiple curses*

Oh I entered some bazaar last weekend but the crowd was pretty crappy. But here are pikchars of our booth.

Booth on the first day. Pardon the blue-ness, was trying to kill off the orange and my camera's white balance came up with this.

Booth on the second day, this time under the white tent so everything looks nice.

And this is Quadruple Queen.

And thats it folks. Til the next time I feel like updating!
